Hiatus and UPDATES!

Hello everyone!

Sorry about not posting anything for nearly a month. I've been on an unannounced hiatus because of school. I'm a senior in high school this year so I've been really busy with hard classes and college applications. I'll probably be back and posting art in mid-November, because that's when I'll be done with my most important college app.

Updates:

1) First things first, I changed my username from Pixalyte to Cazmie! I wanted all of my social media usernames to match which leads to update #2.

2) I made an Instagram C: I'm much more active on it right now because that's where I post sketches and whatnot.

Claiming traced works as your own

I'm just going to rant a little bit here..

So yesterday, I went to Basilmarket.com (Maplestory fan site). Even though I don't play that game anymore, I like visiting the site to see the fanart posted there.

However, one drawing caught my eye. The drawing was an exact pencil tracing of official Maplestory class art that had been shaded in. Almost every single comment on it was praise.

"This is not a sketch. its a master piece"

"I must say, that is REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD!"

Why not tell the original artist that? This girl didn't credit the original, or even admit it was copied or traced. She only said it was "referenced" in a later comment.

Then she posted another one.

It just bothers me that she's getting praised for plagiarism. Only one or two other people out of three pages of comments said anything about copying the drawing other than me. Even the website itself is promoting her by putting her stuff ON THE FRONT PAGE. I've put up comments on every piece and I sent a ticket to Basilmarket, but I feel like no one cares. What do I do about this?

soooo.... something happened

Someone was claiming to be me on Ashpyr's join.me and saying really inappropriate things to her. I've also seen some random sessions logged on my dA account that weren't mine.

If I (or someone claiming to be me) say anything weird, mean, or inappropriate to you,  can you note me or something so I can know? This is really weird...
